The drama unfolding between rapper Safaree and reality TV star Erica Mena has been making
headlines lately. With Safaree's recent request to lower his child support payments, Erica's
reaction, and the ongoing tension surrounding their co-parenting struggles, the situation has
become heated and complicated.

As an observer and someone who has experienced the difficulties of co-parenting firsthand, I
felt compelled to write an open letter to Erica and Safaree, sharing my thoughts on the
importance of putting their children first, setting a positive example, and growing as individuals.
With that context in mind, please read on for my open letter to Erica and Safaree:
Dear Erica and Safaree,
As your story unfolds in the public eye, I can't help but feel a mix of concern and empathy.
While I understand Erica's protective nature as a mother, it's important to remember that
Safaree is also a parent who deserves to be involved in his children's lives. Trust was once a
part of your relationship, and for the sake of your kids, it's crucial to try and find common
ground.
It's time for both of you to grow up and act responsibly. Erica, your previous experience with
toxic coparenting should serve as a reminder to choose a different path this time around.
Safaree, your role as a father demands a level of maturity that extends beyond the TV cameras.
Your actions, such as missing your son's birth and not taking accountability for the hurtful
things you've said and done, need to be addressed and rectified.
Both of you must remember that your children are watching and learning from your behavior.
As parents, it's your duty to set an example and provide a stable environment for them to
thrive. This means acknowledging your mistakes, apologizing when necessary, and working
together to create a healthy co-parenting dynamic.
Sincerely,
Candi 💋
hope that my open letter to Erica Mena and Safaree has shed light on the importance of growth, accountability, and cooperation in co-parenting. While their situation may be playing out in the public eye, let's not forget that they are real people, with real children whose lives are affected by these events & environment. As a community, let's remember that it takes a village to raise a child, and we all have a responsibility to support and uplift one another.
I encourage Erica and Safaree, and all parents navigating co-parenting challenges, to embrace this season of growth and maturation. By acknowledging our mistakes, learning from one another, and committing to a brighter future for our children, we can build a stronger, more compassionate world.
